At the moment i am having a great time @typo Berlin. Did this at the Tshirt workshop between talks.

So this is the reason why I haven’t been posting anything lately… Doing a 5 week theory course in typeface classification.. so right now I’m all about Vox, BSI & Bringhurst. Got any views on type classification or faults and holes in the existing ones I would love to hear it!

A quick birthday card done this weekend. Didn’t have any of my pointed nib pens so this one is done with a thin paintbrush (a bit of a challenge..) and some blue ink. Happy b-day Knud 75!

The Poster is for the event “The Vagina Monologues.” If you are in Hong Kong go see it!

Screenshot from the process of a typeface I started working on a couple of months ago in Berlin. It started as an assignment given to me by Verena Gerlach who I did an internship/mentorship with at the time.Starting with inspiration from the turkish market in Kreuzberg somewhere along the process it changed….and now kinda looks like some weird spacy, cyberdog thing which i guess is as far from the turkish market as it could get….

Still working on it, changing it and playing with it…

Maybe I should make a bold…

Played around with the thought of a some new type.. needed to take my mind of the cyberdog space craziness for a while.. But somehow I seem to fall in to the robotcybertechno80’sweird shapes again.. Who would have thought that, when one of the first type designs I ever tried to do (and completely getting in over my head with) was a Baskerville revival..
