V-Day Poster
I just did a poster to help out my good friend Julianne who is studying at Hong Kong Uni.
The Poster is for the event “The Vagina Monologues.” If you are in Hong Kong go see it!
The organisation V-Day is a global activist movement to stop violence against women and girls.

work in progress
Screenshot from the process of a typeface I started working on a couple of months ago in Berlin. It started as an assignment given to me by Verena Gerlach who I did an internship/mentorship with at the time.Starting with inspiration from the turkish market in Kreuzberg somewhere along the process it changed….and now kinda looks like some weird spacy, cyberdog thing which i guess is as far...

playing with type
Played around with the thought of a some new type.. needed to take my mind of the cyberdog space craziness for a while.. But somehow I seem to fall in to the robotcybertechno80’sweird shapes again.. Who would have thought that, when one of the first type designs I ever tried to do (and completely getting in over my head with) was a Baskerville revival..

Black Metal
If Bonnie Tyler & Seal were from Norway they probably would have played in black metal bands… and maybe their logos could be like this?

Playing around with this. Just started on this but thought it could be fun to have it as spare time project.

Sketchbook pages
Sketchbook Pages:
Looking back..
I mentioned briefly the Baskerville Revival from my 4.semester in school and just for fun here are some sketches from the time when I did my first 10 week project. And cried a lot.
I started out meaning well, and did some research and mini analyses about existing baskerville revivals and the history of the typeface.
After a lot of reading and sketching… I was still feeling endlessly...

paper-cut out
Type design exercise. No drawing, sketching or planning. But cutting and playing. Some of the shapes from this piece of paper were used later on as the beginning of the first sketches for a typeface I am still working on.
Some weird shapes from the cut out that I actually used a lot and that really helped me in my process:
and these were the very first, rough sketches.yikes.

ROFL
Classic Roman Capitals hand cut in marble. So much harder to do than thought but so much fun. Something I definitely want to do again some time.
My first stop motion movie made in 2008 as an exercise while attending Borups Højskole.
